Our Staff

As a certificed facility we have been dedicated to helping women since 1968.

Alcoholism and drug addiction are treatable diseases. Women can build a foundation for lifestyle changes that will sustain them in the future through our warm, nurturing, social model environment.

This is provided by staff, who are themselves recovering and certified by the State of California as experts in the field of substance abuse. Through training and personal experiences, our staff are guides to the first steps in the long road through recovery.

Staffing, Certification & Licensing

Working under the direction of an executive director with an MSW degree, the staff is highly professional, well-trained, experienced and appropriately certified. Their personal commitment to sobriety, recovery and the joy of living means the Gateway staff is dedicated to the care and welfare of Gateway residents and their families.

Gateway is licensed and certified by the California Department of Alcohol and Drug Programs to offer recovery services in both alcoholism and/or other drug addictions.
